Betty's Crescent Roll Pepperoni Pizza
How to Make Pizza Crescent Rolls
These buttery, flaky, little bits of heaven known as crescent rolls are perfect to enjoy any day of the week. If you love pizza and crescent rolls, you'll be in love with this combination. Easy and fun to make, this recipe is perfect to pop in the oven as an appetizer.
Crescent rolls (packages of 8; feel free to multiply as needed)
Red sauce (marinara sauce, tomato sauce, or any red sauce you prefer will work)
Mozzarella cheese (any cheese, or combination of cheese, of your choice will do)
Preheat the oven according to the crescent roll packages. This should be about 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Separate the crescent roll triangles. You can make them smaller than the size they come in, or mush them together to make bigger ones.
On each crescent roll triangle, spread the sauce. You can choose to add as much or as little as you like.
Sprinkle cheese.Again, add as little or as much cheese as you wish.
Roll up the crescents.Starting at the biggest end of the triangle of dough, roll it up. This might get messy depending on how much sauce and cheese you used, but they'll still taste delicious no matter how they look.
Arrange the rolls on a baking tray.Make sure they aren't touching.
Bake the rolls according to the package on the crescent rolls. This should be for about 9-11 minutes.
Remove from the oven once they look golden brown.
Transfer to a plate, and enjoy!
